Jointly developed as a multi-purpose fighter bomber by the United Kingdom, West Germany and Italy, the Panavia Tornado formed the sharp edge of Western European air defense and demonstrated its capabilities to the world in the first Gulf War. From its deployment in 1976, the Tornado set the benchmark for the last generation of jet fighters and is well respected by many pilots even today. In addition to its potency as a strike fighter, the signature swing-wing design delivered the performance requirements demanded by each country’s military. This R/C version features 3-stage swing-wing movement for three rear swept wing angle settings. The forward most position produces the greatest degree of flight stability while the wings can be swept back for increased speed that will please even expert level fliers. Kyosho’s proven high-powered “DF55” ducted fan unit generates the awesome thrust for real jet like flight performance. Also, this nearly fully assembled kit with completed color scheme includes two micro servos, brushless motor and motor control amp in a PIP (plug in play) kit. With your existing transmitter and receiver, you can experience the heart thumping excitement of dynamic jet fighter speed and control.

3-stage swing-wing angle offsets for the main wing can be set pre-flight. Position further forward for greater stability in landing and takeoffs.

 

Set increased offset angles for the 1st and 2nd stage positions of the swing-wing for even greater speed. Also capable of sharp roll maneuvers.

 

PIP kit features a high performance ducted fan unit and high-power brushless motor with motor control amp and two micro servos for elevon control.

Includes stickers for each country’s national airforce. Apply your favorite graphics and enjoy realistic scale jet flight.

  • Finished with realistic color scheme that compliments the lightweight fuselage structure.
  • Spacious battery room can accommodate large packs up to 106x32x20mm in size. (11.1V-910 ~ 1,300mAh LiPo / No.ORI60037 recommended)
  • Insert blades into the fan unit, fix the main and tail wings to the fuselage, then set the linkage rods and apply the decals to complete.
  • PIP (Plug in Play) set allows your choice of transmitter and receiver.
