Σας παρουσιάζουμε το Αμερικάνικο οχηματαγωγό στην Ελληνική έκδοση με 414 κομμάτια και Ελληνικά αυτοκόλλητα. Το ιστορικό HS Ipopliarkhos Roussen (L164), Hellenic Navy, 1958 (ex LSM-399). Το συναρμολογούμενο μοντέλο πολεμικού πλοίου αποτελείται από πλαστικά κομμάτια και περιλαμβάνει σχέδια και οδηγίες συναρμολόγησης. Κόλλα μοντελισμού, πινέλα και χρώματα δεν περιλαμβάνονται στην συσκευασία.

Υποπλοίαρχος Ρουσσέν (Οχηματαγωγό) L-164 - Πρώην πλοίο ‘USS LSM 399’.

Κατασκευάστηκε στα ναυπηγεία ‘USA – Charleston Navy Yard, Charleston S.C.’. Καθελκύστηκε στις 18 Ιανουαρίου 1945. Στην ενεργεία από τις 13 Αυγούστου 1945. Του ιδίου τύπου 'Υποπλοίαρχος Δανιόλος ’, 'Υποπλοίαρχος Κρυσταλλίδης', ‘Υποπλοίαρχος Μέρλιν’, Υποπλοίαρχος Γρηγορόπουλος’ και ‘Υποπλοίαρχος Τουρνάς’ . Ονομάστηκε προς τιμή του Υποπλοίαρχου Ν. Ρουσσέν που φονεύθηκε στην προσπάθεια του για την καταστολή του κινήματος του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού στη Μέση Ανατολή (Αλεξάνδρεια) στις 22 Απριλίου 1944. Παρελήφθη στις 3 Οκτωβρίου 1968 στο πόρτσμουθ Βιργίνια Η.Π.Α. από τον Πλωτάρχη Π. Καρανδρέα χρησιμοποιήθηκε για στρατιωτικές και κρατικές μεταφορές. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες ΕΔΩ

From 1944 onwards, the Landing Ship Medium (LSM class) was used by the U.S. Navy as a landing craft in the Pacific against the Japanese enemy. They were the main component of the U.S. naval force in landing troops and vehicles on beaches occupied by the enemy.

Several LSM-class Schiﬀe were sunk by kamikaze attacks by the end of the war - but their reputation remains legendary decades after the Second World War!
